Music Quiz · Guess the Song · Apple TV

Hear it. Know it. Shout it.

02 · Shout

Players yell at each other, not the TV.

A clip plays, the album art blurs, the timer counts down. The room shouts the title or artist across the couch — the host hears who got it first and taps the team on the Siri Remote. No microphone, no voice recognition, no buzzers.

03 · Score

Tap the player. Next round.

The artwork unblurs, the title drops, a witty caption sets up the next round. The host taps any player who got it — one or many — and the score animates up. No menus, no admin screens.

FAQ

Short answers.

Does it use voice recognition or a microphone?

No. Players shout the answer at each other — the host hears who got it first and taps the team on the Siri Remote to score. The Siri Remote is just the host's controller; nobody is shouting at the TV.

Do I need an Apple Music subscription?

Not for the built-in packs — they play Apple Music preview clips that work for everyone. A subscription unlocks two extra ways to play: browse your full library inside the app, or import any Apple Music playlist by URL.

How many players can join?

Free mode plays solo or up to 2 players. Premium unlocks 1–8 players on one TV.

Do I need an iPhone or iPad?

No — the game runs entirely on Apple TV. An iPhone is only useful if you want to copy a playlist link for URL import; your own library playlists appear automatically once you sign in.

How does URL playlist import work?

Two ways with Premium. Your own Apple Music library playlists appear automatically once you sign in. For other playlists (a friend's, an editorial pick), copy the share link on your iPhone and paste it into ShoutTrack on Apple TV — it becomes a quiz pack.

Do I have to type player names with the Siri Remote?

No — ShoutTrack auto-assigns themed nicknames like Earworm, Prodigy, Decibel, and Wizard so you can jump straight into a round. Skip the keyboard entirely.

What kinds of packs are included?

Decades from the 80s through the 2020s, plus rock, hip-hop, R&B, dance, country, K-Pop, Latin, Eurovision, Disney, TV themes, movie soundtracks, Norwegian and Swedish hits, and more.

What's included in Premium?

All 40+ packs, playlist import from Apple Music, up to 8 players, longer games (10–30 tracks), all clip lengths, and the option to turn artwork reveal off. Pick Monthly, Yearly, or a one-time Lifetime unlock.
