ShoutTrack is a music quiz app for Apple TV. We are committed to keeping the product simple and privacy-conscious.
Data Collection
ShoutTrack does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to external servers. The app does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking.
Data Stored on Device
To make repeat sessions smoother, ShoutTrack stores some gameplay information locally on your Apple TV.
- Game settings such as team names, round count, clip length, and artwork reveal preferences.
- Song history used to reduce repeats inside packs.
- Scores and recent game results stored locally for in-app use.
This information stays on your device.
Apple Music Previews
ShoutTrack uses Apple Music preview clips through MusicKit to power quiz rounds.
- The app searches the Apple Music catalog to find songs for packs and rounds.
- Only preview clips are used. Full-track playback is not required.
- An Apple Music subscription is not required for preview-based gameplay.
- The app does not access or store your listening history, library contents, or personal recommendations.
Third-Party Services
The only external service accessed by the app is Apple Music through MusicKit. Apple’s own privacy terms apply to those services.
Children's Privacy
ShoutTrack does not knowingly collect information from children or adults because the app does not collect personal data at all.
Terms and Availability
ShoutTrack is provided as-is. Song availability may vary by region depending on Apple Music catalog coverage and preview availability.
Use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
